Through my journey, I discovered a passion for helping others like me:
Women who feel disconnected from their bodies and emotions.
Women who suppress their pain and trauma by staying busy, avoiding what’s uncomfortable.
Women who long to get off medication, reconnect with themselves, and feel alive again.
For 20 years, I lived on antidepressants. I was a master at suppressing my emotions and didn’t realize how numb I was. I became a secondary character in my own life, letting others direct the story while I searched endlessly for external sources of happiness: more money, a nicer house, a tropical vacation, losing weight. None of it worked.
In 2018, cannabis became legal in Canada, and I decided to try something new. At first, I used it recreationally as a way to relax and laugh during the lockdowns. But I began noticing something deeper happening—my overthinking mind started to quiet, and I felt present for the first time in years.
I paired this newfound presence with mindfulness meditation, which taught me to sit with my emotions instead of avoiding them. Together, cannabis and mindfulness gave me the tools to reconnect with myself. They helped me appreciate the beauty of the present moment and gave me the strength to begin facing the fears, patterns, and trauma I had been avoiding for so long.
Getting off antidepressants felt like a huge victory, but I soon realized it was just the beginning of my journey. Without emotion-numbing meds, I had to rediscover who I truly was—what I valued, what I needed, and how to create a life that felt aligned with my soul.
Why I Do This Work:
Because You Deserve to Feel Again
I know how overwhelming it can feel to start the healing process. You’re busy, running on autopilot, and ignoring the whispers of your body because there’s always something “more important” to do. Maybe you’re tired of numbing yourself with medications or distractions, but the idea of sitting with your feelings feels too big, too uncomfortable.
Healing doesn’t have to feel impossible, and you don’t have to do it alone. My journey taught me that healing is about reconnecting with yourself—your body, your emotions, and your inner wisdom.
I’ve made it my mission to guide women like you to rediscover the joy of truly feeling. Whether it’s through intentional cannabis use, mindfulness practices, or compassionate coaching, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
